CarboCAT makes transferring crew and cargo safe and efficient. This is thanks to its lightness and size which provide an exceptionally stable platform, even in less than optimal weather. That means you have a wider range of conditions to safely operate in than with an equivalent aluminium vessel.
Put to the test
Together with an external partner, we conducted studies to see just how stable a CarboCAT is at various wave heights. Using numeric simulations, we created the dynamic conditions of the ocean and measured the performance of a CarboCAT vessel. The results confirmed that carbon fibre’s benefits significantly reduce boat movement during docking compared to vessels constructed with aluminium.
