A new standard in safety at sea
Our centuries of experience at sea have given us a great respect for the dangers it carries. We’ve engineered CarboCAT to be a leap forward in making operating at sea safer for both the crew manning the vessel and the passengers onboard.
A safer place to work
The size and stability of CarboCAT vessels reduces boat movement so work onboard is less hazardous for the crew as they work with cargo and running the boat. Carbon composites allow us to design a strucuture with more open space, so the crew has extra room to manoeuvre both above and below deck. And to provide a measure of protection in adverse weather, the superstructure’s walls can be extended to shield the crew from the elements.
Docking and transfers
Compared to conventional aluminium boats, CarboCAT allows you to safely complete transfers in a greater range of wave heights. Reduced boat movement decreases the risk of something going wrong when loading cargo or when passengers are attempting to embark or disembark, which is especially important in offshore situations. To make transfers even more secure, we’ve created special docking systems for more stable conditions.
We’re not only dedicated to surpassing all safety regulations, we work with classification societies to develop new standards for the future.
