CarboCAT – 320 years in the making
CarboCAT is part of Kockums, a Swedish shipyard that has been producing ships since 1679. Since then, we have been at the forefront of effectively implementing new shipbuilding technology.
Over the centuries, some 450 ships have left the slipways. The materials have changed from oak and canvas to armoured steel, carbon fibre, reinforced plastic and electronics, but the craftsmanship, inherited from generation to generation of shipbuilders, still remains first-class.
For more than three hundred years, it has been our passion to make working at sea safer, more efficient and more profitable.
